Fujioka Haruhi won a scholarship to attend Ouran Academy, a school reserved for the rich and prestigious. Despite what other students may think of her, Haruhi cares little for physical appearances or the fact that she is a commoner. Unfortunately for Haruhi, her high school days took a turn when she stumbled upon the Host Club, an elite club for the super rich and beautiful boys who use their specific traits and charms to entertain young ladies. Even worse was that Haruhi had accidentally broken an 8 million yen vase in the club. Unable to repay her debt with money, Haruhi found herself with no choice but to work for the Host Club, becoming a male host herself.

Maiden Speakers On Wednesday, 28th September at 8pm in the Cairnes Theatre we bring you the most anticipated Law Soc event for first time public speakers and debaters. It's a chance to gain some experience standing up and speaking in front of a crowd in a relaxed and comfortable environment. The motions for the night are below and the arguments for and against can be as serious or as ridiculous as you like (baring in mind that there will be a prize for the funniest attempt as well as medals being awarded on the night). Of course, we can't forget that the first placed speaker will have the honour of having their name engraved in the Maiden Speakers cup for ever more.
The Motions are: This house believes that women make better politicians than men This house believes that Kenny Dalglish was hired to retain supporters and will not win any cups. This house believes that Bertie was a patriot and deserves a Nobel Prize. This house believes that aliens exist. This house believes that the Xbox is better than Playstation. This house believes that Rhianna/Bradd Pitt is hotter than Mila Kunis/Gary Barlow . This house believes that Ireland should leave the European Union. This house believes that women are not more emotional than men. This house believes that women are better drivers and deserve cheaper insurance. This house believes that..... When Ryuhei Sasaki is unceremoniously dumped from his 'safe' company job, his family's happy, humdrum life is put at risk. Unwilling to accept the shame of unemployment, the loyal salaryman decides not to tell anyone, instead leaving home each morning in a suit and tie with a briefcase, spending his days searching for work and lining up for soup with the homeless.
