Now that study week is upon us best of luck to al of you with exams coming up. Societies are winding down this week but do check out what is happeing if you want a break from the books. Some things to look out for:

On Monday 30th, NUIG Orchestra Soc and Choral Soc are having a Christmas Concert in aid of Zikomo, a charity group committed to fostering the long-term self-sufficiency of rural communities in southern Malawi. The event will be held in the Upper Aula Maxima from 8pm. Tickets are €5 and are available from the SocsBox in Áras Na MacLéinn. It promises to be a fantastic event - don’t miss out!
The Arts Office “EYE Spies” Photographic Exhibition launches 5pm Wednesday, 2 December in the Art Gallery situated in the Quadrangle. Runs until Wed 16 December. Open 12-4, Mon - Sat.
A chill-out space will be available on Mondays 7th & 14th of December, from 5.30 - 7.30pm, in the Large Acoustic Room in Áras Na MacLéinn. Enjoy console gaming with projector & big screen!

Ancient Music Ireland presents: 'Overtone' in concert, a live recording exploring a rediscovery of acoustic colour that is 'instrumental overtone' on ancient and modern musical instruments.
Salut! We need at least 10 people come with us to this event on the 13th november. We have got special discount tickets for society members, only E10! This is a fantastic event, having seen them perform before, I cannot recommend them enough:). They have some of the only accurate reproductions of some of the great archaeological finds of instruments from the Bronze age and later, including the Loughnashade trumpet!
So just let us know if you are interested to come with us or send us an email or leave a message on our wall ASAP as places are limited!
Choral Soc's joint Christmas Concert with the NUIG Orchestra takes place in the Upper Aula Maxima at 8 o' clock. Tickets are âŹ5 and are available from the socs box, and will also be available at the door on the night.

Every week we have some of the best jugglers around giving workshops in their chosen area of expertise, so come along if you want to learn how to swing Poi, twirl Staffs, juggle Clubs and Balls, spin Diablos, roll Contact Balls, flip Hats and do .... well cool stuff with Devil Sticks! I think you get the idea! People of ALL skill levels welcome from complete beginner to advanced. If you don't want to participate in the workshop come along anyway to use our equipment and as always feel free to ask anyone you want to teach you anything you want!!

Workshop on law debates, focusing on the pillars of justice, prisons and contract law. The format of these workshops will be opening with a debate with 3-minute speeches (or perhaps even just 15-minutes prep) on an law motion, then discussion on what teams are missing in terms of points & analysis, some theoretical stuff, then a full-length debate on a related law motion.

Mainly for kids and the adult beginners from the classes, but you're all welcome to drop down for a game if you wish.
The Mature Students Society are hosting the annual Childrens' Christmas Party in Ăras na Mac LĂ©inn on Saturday 5th December. The event is open to all students with children.
