Agri Soc is a new society to NUI Galway and you don’t need to be a farmer to join!!! It aims to:

· Promote agriculture among the students and staff.

· Raise awareness of agriculture’s importance to the national economy and of its heritage.

· Inform members of the various different sectors within agriculture and their roles.

· To highlight the importance of involving a new generation in agriculture.

· To show agriculture as a modernizing, profitable and employable, sector of the economy.
