The Economics Society has been formed by students interested in bringing Economics out of the lecture theatre and onto the mainstream campus. There are two broad aims of the society: firstly to help make economics more accessable to students and essentially 'less scary'. Secondly, we hope to use the society as a platform for charitable projects, of an economics nature.

Generally, meetings/get-togethers happen on a Tuesday evening at 6pm, in Aras na Macleinn. Everyone and anyone is welcome to join whether you are studying economics, interested in economics, or just plain curious please come along to one of our meetings and find out more!
