Do you like gaming? Do you like gaming against other people? Then this event is for you!

Compsoc are holding a weekend long big LAN party over the weekend of the 27th of November. There'll be people from universities all over the country coming up to play games, hang out and have fun for a weekend. It promises to be a great weekend.

For those of you who don't know what a LAN party is, it's a gathering of people with computers, who basically hook up their PC's to play games against one another.

Our LAN party will be in Aras Na MacLeinn and everyone will bring in their PC's/laptops, set them up and we'll all play games together. We'll game till from morning to evening, then all go out and have fun, then come back in the next day and do it all over again!

There'll be competitions, but there's no requirement to compete, you can just come along to casually play games and chill. We'll be having social events at night after the gaming is over so that everyone can hang out and get to know each other.

If you're a console nut, we've got you covered too, we'll have consoles set up and competitions on these too.

I mentioned competitions, but I didn't mention prizes, because there will be prizes! The list has yet to be confirmed, but we're looking to get games, peripherals, high end computer parts etc.

Unfortunately all this awesomeness comes at a cost, and that cost is €25, payable at the door. This'll be to cover equipment expenses and stuff like that, we wish we could do it for free, but it's not that simple! You will be getting value for money, as we'll have parties going on at night, with special offers and things like that.
