Free Speech for Fascism?
Nick Griffin, the self-proclaimed fascist and leader of the far-right racist political party, the British National Party, has been invited to speak at the Philosophical Society in Trinity College on October 20th.
The newly-formed United Left Alliance Society in NUIG will be giving a general introduction to Ireland's newest political party as well as debating the pros and cons of freedom of speech for fascists as opposed to the no platform policy.
